Resin bonded is usually only used in a commercial environment where maximum grip is required. Resin bonded, due to it’s rough textured finish.

With this system the resin is spread over the surface using a serrated squeegee and the stone is then scattered over the top.the stone sets into the resin.

This system blends itself well to pedestrian areas which require aloof grip – and is not really recommended for driveways or vehicle areas. It can be used but we would only recommend using a super strong bauxite stone, which is limited to just a few colours.

This is our most popular drive surface and is the number one choice for driveways and pathways for both our domestic and commercial customers. The smooth, decorative finish blends itself to any environment and is an excellent surface for everyday use. Resin bound is child friendly and poses no problems for disabled or wheelchair access.
